Welcome to Ancient-Craft Lodge (Formerly Northwood Ancient-Craft Lodge) website.  Since Chartered as Northwood Lodge #551 on May 29th, 1929, brothers from this lodge have been serving the community in Southeastern Michigan. Here you will find information about the Masonic fraternity in general and our Lodge in particular.  Our members are dedicated to contributing to society in any way within their capability.  Our tenets are Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth.  Please browse this site and contact us for any additional information you may desire.

Upcoming Big events

1) Mason of the Year Dinner on Wednesday March 11th, 2026 at 6PM. Free admission for 551 brothers and guest, but you MUST RSVP! See below flyer for details.

2) Annual Corned Beef Dinner on Saturday March 14th, 2026 from 4PM – 7PM. $15/person at the Door.

3) Palm Sunday Breakfast on Sunday March 29th, 2026 from 9AM – 1PM. $15/person at the Door.

4) Table Lodge 2026 – Masons in the Civil War – Friend to Friend – A Brotherhood Undivided on Saturday June 13th, 2026. Lodge will be Tiled in the EA Degree and Closed to Non-Masons. Doors will open at 5:00 PM for socializing – Lodge will be opened at 6PM. See WB Jim McPherson for Tickets

The lodge building is available for rent to others.  We screen users for appropriate usage and reserve the right to deny users that are not within our guidelines.   All meetings and events are scheduled and visible in our calendar.  The Lodge building is equipped with a dining room suitable for dinners of up to 96 people sitting at round tables of up to 8 plus a head table, total capacity limited to 120.
